Frequently asked questions
In order to provide you as much information we can, here are the answers to the most usual questions we are recieving. We hope, they will help to make the nautical vacation, more closer to you. 1. Am I obligated to take skipper?
ANSWERS:
1. Am I obligated to take skipper? No, you are not obligated to take skipper, but there are some yachts indicated in our offer where this is an obligation, and they can be rented only with skipper or the crew.
2. Who is obligated for paying the skipper? You are obligated for paying the skipper, hostess or the crew, unless it is not indicated differently in our offer.
3. Who is obligated for skippers food? Skippers food is yours obligation in case you are eating on the boat or outside in restaurants.
4. What documents do I need to rent a boat without skipper? You need to have a valid skipper and radio–telephone licence, and on some yachts, test drive is obligated.
5. What do I have to pay besides the amount of the charter price? You have to pay safety deposit, final cleaning, fuel or the crew, and not obligated things; outboarder, spinnaker, parking place at marina and marina fees.
6. Is it possible to pay with a credit card? No. Paying with credit card is possible only in bases when you have to pay safety deposit.
7. Where can I buy food and drinks for my cruising? In all marinas there are well supplied groccery shops, where you can buy everything you need, and it will be close to carry it to your yacht.
8. Are the yachts equiped with bed linen, towels or simillar things? Yes. All the yachts are equiped with bed linen, towels, kitchen inventory, nautical equipment, etc.
You can leave your car at marinas parking place. Parking fee for 7 days is about 30 - 40 EUR; depends from marina to marina. In some bases there is possiblity to park in garage.
10. Where can I find some travel information about flights, ferry schedule, etc? All information about travelling to Croatia, you can find on our site, Travel information >>.
11. When is exact time for check in and check out? Usually time for check in is on Saturday afternoon at 5:00 pm and check out on Saturday morning at 8:00 or 9:00 am.
12. Is it possible to rent a boat or yacht for one or few days? It is possible in peroid before and after the peak season, and in case we are able to find you available yacht during the season. Ussualy, charter period is 7 days, from Saturday to Saturday.
13. Are the pets allowed to come aboard with me? Ussually, pets are not allowed to be embarked, except it is not indicated differently in our offer.
